Location: Shreveport, LA Position Type: Full Time, Employee Direcotor of ICU/Cath LabLocation: Shreveport, LA Job Summary:  Responsible for the management of the Adult Critical Care Unit and the Heart Cath Lab on a 24 hour basis.  Insures that the hospital philosophy and core values are evident in the service delivered to customers.   POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Bachelor’s Degree from Accredited school of Nursing; Master’s Degree preferred.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Critical Care nursing with 2 in a supervisory or management role. Licensure/Certifications: Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Louisiana; ACLS, BLS. CCRN certification preferred. Additional Requirements:  Good oral and written communication skills. Self directed and motivated. Ability to problem solve. Strong critical thinking, team building, and coaching skills. Must have supervisory and leadership ability and be able to make immediate judgments and decisions.
