Direct Care Residential - Adults

Bancroft NeuroHealth is dedicated to fostering the highest quality of life for people of all ages with neurological disorders, including developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries.

Bancroft has entry-level, direct care openings for individuals who want to learn to help adults with neurological disorders.  Our openings are located in the Cherry Hill, NJ area.

Responsibilities include:

*Participate actively in the learning experiences and life growth of each individual within the program area.

*Provide for the individual care, supervision and safety of our persons served.

*Act as a role model for the residents and carry out the specific responsibilities of advocate.

*Deal well with various types of problem behaviors (e.g., aggression, self-injury, etc.)

*Implement behavioral assessment/treatment plans

We are seekingcandidate who have:

*High School Diploma or GED

*Bachelor's degree or pursuing bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, and related fields, preferred.

*Experience with DD/MR or brain injury populations is preferred but not required.

*Valid driver's license without restrictions

*Clean Criminal Background

*Must be able to provide a minimum of (2) Professional References

**Full-time, part-time, and substitute positions available.  Must be able to work WEEKENDS and EVENINGS.  Overnight shifts sometimes available.
