This twenty-two-bed unit specializes in the care of acutely ill hospitalized elderly patients. The design for this unit is based upon nationally recognized standards of care for the elderly, with the expectation that we will realize improved clinical and functional outcomes for this specialty population. This unit offers twenty-four hour quality patient care for a wide range of diagnoses that impact our elderly patients. This position will plan and manage patient care, nursing and support services and provide overall direction and leadership for an energetic and dynamic staff that take pride in their clinical excellence. This is a twenty-seven bed unit that strives on strong teamwork and high standards with an emphasis on collaboration with patients, families and all professional disciplines. This position requires a current WA state RN license, a masters degree in nursing or healthcare administration; 3-5 years of increasingly responsible management experience; must have recent clinical expertise and a passion for promoting excellence in patient care, exceptional organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
