Director, Finance

Primary Duties
The Director of Finance supervises all business financial management functions (including general accounting and reporting), investment management, and audit management to assure the effective management of organizational fiduciary and financial risk with an in depth knowledge of GAAP, and full risk capitation and managed care operations. The position oversees the financial analyst group, directs the annual budgeting process, develops and implements analytical tools, strategic and operating forecasts and benchmarking, and is the finance lead on all major contracts/lines of business (USFHP, Medicare Advantage and Point Partners). This position represents the organization with internal and external customers, Board Committees and regulatory agencies at a senior level. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing Corporate Financial Policies to adhere to the regulations of all regulatory agencies of the State, Federal, and Healthcare oversight, insurance strategy and policy development in order to minimize financial risk for the Organization.

BA or BS in Accounting in Business Administration required. MBA, CPA, FHFMA preferred.

Minimum Qualifications
5 + years of supervisory experience required. 3 + years of experience with full risk capitation and physician practices preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting and excellent computer and analytical skills. Ability to work in a highly complex and fast moving healthcare and insurance environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
