Under the direction of the Vice-President, Human Resources, this position works in partnership with senior management throughout the company to lead efforts that address strategic and operational HR challenges. Has management oversight of all Pennsylvania based client groups through HR Business Partner model and assigned direct oversight of complex client(s). Provides guidance and counsel to management regarding the overall employee relations climate and operating practices, functioning as a stabilizing influence that enhances effective and open communication and a positive work environment. Is available to and approachable by all employees. Partners with Learning and Organizational Effectiveness to identify needs and coordinate training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, performance review, sexual harassment and other areas of corporate policy. Establish performance requirements and personal development targets for all direct reports through the corporate-wide Performance LINC process.
MA or MS in HR, Industrial Psychology, Organization Behavior or related field. A minimum 12 years of Human Resources experience, including 5-8 years in the design and execution of organization and talent assessment practices (surveys, assessment tools, assessment centers, etc), change management and development program design. Strong blend and understanding of client consulting, talent management, change management and leadership development theory and practice. Must have deep and current domain knowledge / expertise. Strong ability of establishing credibility with key stakeholders. Must have demonstrated success in the innovative design, development, implementation and management of HR related programs and practices. Experience working/consulting within a healthcare environment preferred. Possesses and maintains a strong professional network. Exceptional platform / facilitation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of leadership. Strong project management experience and team leadership skills. Demonstrated success in working on teams and on multiple and changing priorities. Proficiency with spreadsheets and other software applications.
