Director, Nursing - Women's Health
This new position will provide strategic, business, administrative and clinical direction and oversight to ensure excellence in women's health services. The Director has major responsibility for the implementation of the vision, mission, plans and standards of the organization and nursing services within their defined areas of responsibility. The Nurse Director will collaborate with nursing staff at all levels, interdisciplinary teams, executive officers, and other stakeholders, and support research and integrate it into the delivery of nursing care and nursing administration. The Nurse Director will be working in a high pressured and rapidly changing environment and must maintain poise in stressful situations.
Must have a current RN license with a BSN and five (5) years of proven progressive leadership experience and a Masters in Nursing, Business and/or health related required. Certification in Nursing Administration (CNA) or Certification in Nursing Administration Advanced (CNAA) is strongly recommended. Specific demonstrated experience in Women's Health (OBGYN, Labor and Delivery and Pediatrics) is required.
