Director, Performance Improvement

Location: VHA Pacific Network – Renton, WA (Seattle area)

RELOCATION AVAILABLE

Job Summary:
This position will assist in the identification and management of select, high profile performance improvement initiatives across multiple high-profile member organizations. For the local VHA members, will serve as the local facilitator and internal expert in effective performance improvement processes; working collaboratively with member, regional and national resources. This position has responsibility for data collection, initiative identification, leading practice definition and delivery of education, tools, and coaching across the member organizations in utilizing data driven performance improvement processes to meet predefined objectives across the dimensions of quality, cost, and service.

Responsibilities:
• Collecting and analyzing clinical performance data.
• Leading and working collaboratively with others designing, implementing and managing clinical quality improvement projects.
• Designing and coordinating clinical improvement education programs.
• Coodinating clinical networks.



Requirements
• Bachelors Degree in health care field required
• Masters Degree in health care field, health care administration or business preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (optional)
• Six sigma, CAP, Lean or other project management training preferred.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
