Join us today for an inspired and purposeful mix of professional growth opportunities and personal rewards. Major Responsibilities Provide executive leadership on the design and development of the Primary Care Transformation strategy, including UHG’s Patient Centered Medical Home pilot.  This includes collection of benchmark data, research, coordination of analytics, and stakeholder feedback. Participate in and lead efforts to socialize program with physician leadership organizations and market-based physician leaders. Coordinate program development with other key UHG business segments including Ovations, OptumHealth, UHPS and Uniprise. Lead development of product design opportunities to support program scale. Develop customer engagement plan and facilitate uptake with key UHC/USS constituents. Manage program resources, direct or indirect to ensure program is launched on time and on budget. Coordinate all third party contracts and activities to support program rollout and execution, to include research partner, physician society participants, technology, intersegment services, legal, and other payer entities. Oversee all aspects of program development including analytics, operations, physician recruitment, communications, legal/regulatory, product, clinical, contracting, and service. Masters degree in public health, business, or health care related field.  (Direct patient care background strongly desired (RN, R.Pharm, etc.). 7+  years of managed care experience and excellent understanding of the network-based delivery systems (physician office, inpatient/ER setting). Demonstrated experience with complex enterprise-wide program management required PMI certification strongly preferred. Strong finance background, including 5-7 years working with health care data, financial analyses, statistics, and physician performance measures. Experience designing research studies strongly desired.  Demonstrated experience working in process improvement collaboratives such as the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) or another nationally-recognized organization focused on ambulatory practice redesign. Proven to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; credible with physicians, executives, policy setting organizations. Proven track record of execution in highly matrixed organizations with strong focus on quality improvement and medical cost savings initiatives. Operates with a great sense of urgency and style to “get it done”.  Excellent relationship development and management skills and ability to work successfully in highly matrixed environments. Demonstrated facilitation skills and ability to appropriately track issues and escaluate appropriately.
