Located throughout the Charlotte, NC area, Carolinas HealthCare System (CHS) is a premier, multi-faceted healthcare organization whose facilities make up one of the largest integrated healthcare systems in the US.

Highly visible opportunity exists to direct our exceptional accounting, grants/contracts, research IS, reimbursement and budget teams. Key responsibilities include: managing daily processes of our teams; ensuring regulatory compliance for grants/contracts and providing education and monitoring of the program; creating internal controls to ensure sound accounting practices, standard operating procedures for all processes and automation to replace manual processes; implementation of the research billing program throughout the research community; assisting research customers with budgeting/invoicing; and distributing accurate financial reports to principal investigators in a timely manner.


Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution and exceptional communication skills. Six years of experience as a hands-on financial manager and MBA preferred.
