More information about Thomson Reuters and its financial performance can be found on www.ThomsonReuters.com. The Healthcare business of Thomson Reuters provides insights -- information, benchmarks and analysis -- that enable organizations to manage costs, improve performance and enhance the quality of healthcare.  General PurposeLead the strategy function for the Clinical Evidence business line within the TH Provider business.  Responsible for market research to understand customer needs, competitive analysis, market sizing/segmentation, strategic differentiation, and overall strategic vision.  . Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesDevelop and help drive the overall strategy and vision for the Clinical Evidence business line; partner with strategy colleagues to help drive an integrated clinical strategy for the Provider business.Gather and understand key market trends, competitor and information technology issues through market research, and support business unit-specific strategic planningTranslate current/emerging market needs into both near-term and long-term business priorities, and work collaboratively with other functional areas to develop business cases and comprehensive go-to-market strategies for existing and new solutionsConduct market sizing/segmentation and competitive analysis.Work collaboratively with other functional areas - Product Management, Editorial/Content Development, Sales, IT, etc on strategy development and executionLead the Business Line Management team for Clinical Evidence and help drive the performance of this area.Bachelor’s degree required. An MBA or other advanced degree is strongly desired. 5+ years of experience in healthcare products/solutions3+ years of direct experience with clinical evidence/content solutions3+ years strategy experience  Demonstrated ability to develop business strategy.. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to perform and achieve results.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly, effectively, and persuasively communicate to levels of the organization. Ability to work collaboratively across different work groups in order to drive both organizational and team performance.Broad understanding of the healthcare space, with experience in the clinical evidence/content space.Ability to solve complex problems efficiently and effectively, relying on experience, creativity and autonomy.Creative thinker; ability to provide both strategic and tactical direction.
