Director of Breast Imaging Accreditation Program

s major project responsibility is to manage the Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System (BI-RADS) Atlas.  This includes staffing committees as well as revising the entire atlas to address changing technologies and medical practice; respond to Bi-RADS questions from members; oversee the BIAP consumer complaint process; quality check all sensitive written reports and correspondence sent to the FDA; coordinate all Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence Activities; supervise, train, and develop staff; make presentations at local and national meetings; and review policies and procedures and make recommendations for changes. Qualified candidates will have: • 5+ years of personnel management experience• 5+ years project management experience that includes writing technical reports• Experience in a healthcare organization, medical professional organization, medical device or  medical software company• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, biology, or related field• Master’s degree in public health, science, engineering, healthcare or business  administration strongly preferred•Knowledge of medical imaging or diagnosis and/or treatment of breast disease  desired• Must be familiar with medical terminology• Must be proficient in MS Office• Excellent verbal and presentation skills  **Will provide relocation assistance!**  ACR offers competitive compensation and an exceptional benefits package including a defined contribution pension plan, 403B, paid vacation, paid personal days, paid holidays and sick days, all major insurances – life, health, dental, prescription, AD&D, short and long term disability, LTC, flexible spending, tuition reimbursement, physical fitness benefit, a business casual/people friendly work environment and more!   ACR  is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, religion, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, and physical or mental disability.   Company: American College of Radiology Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Medical/Health Relevant Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Career Level: Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Company: American College of Radiology
