Director of Breast Imaging Accreditation Program
s major project responsibility is to manage the Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System (BI-RADS) Atlas. This includes staffing committees as well as revising the entire atlas to address changing technologies and medical practice; respond to Bi-RADS questions from members; oversee the BIAP consumer complaint process; quality check all sensitive written reports and correspondence sent to the FDA; coordinate all Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence Activities; supervise, train, and develop staff; make presentations at local and national meetings; and review policies and procedures and make recommendations for changes.
