Director of Case Management

We have a position available in the Boston area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

-A major hospital in the Boston area seeks a creative, articulate RN with strong case management background to lead a team consisting of 12 RNs and 20 social workers.

-This is an oppurtunity to make a difference in a highly supportive environment with strong, experienced staff. 

-Will report to the Chief Medical officer who welcomes new ideas.

-Position involves dealing with patients, families and physicians.  Should have ability to level patients, deal with insurance companies and negotiable contracts.

-Should have strong experience and knowledge of quality improvement, utilization management, and hospital reimbursement, RN license required.  Masters preferred.
