Director of Critical Care

The Director of Critical Care is responsible for the overall direction and strategic planning for the 12-bed ICU, as well as the 16-bed progressive care unit and will oversee 57 FTEs with the assistance of 2 direct reports. The position reports to the VP of Patient Care Services and will be joining a progressive nursing department.  The ideal candidate will be a Master’s preferred; BSN prepared professional with an assertive, self-motivated leadership style.  Experience within a hospital with a complex medical/surgical and cardiovascular program a must. The hospital is a financially strong, community-owned, not-for-profit, 385-bed facility offering a wide range of services including medical and surgical care, radiation oncology, home health, education, outpatient surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, MRI, CT scans, as well as emergency services.  Founded on Christian heritage and traditions of excellence, this hospital is dedicated to improving the health of the people they serve with human dignity, high quality, caring service, value, and leadership.
