Director of Education

Redstone Highlands is a faith based non-profit organization, offering a full continuum of retirement living options to older adults with campus locations in Greensburg, Murrysville and North Huntingdon.  We are seeking a Director of Education, based at our Greensburg campus, who will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, implementing and directing the curriculum and programs for the Redstone Highlands University.

 

The position will:Research and prepare material for new training programs; review, evaluate and modify existing and proposed programs; recommend appropriate changes Formulate teaching outline and determine instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshopsConfer with directors, supervisors and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologiesCoordinate training schedule with the employment and educational needs of organizationSelect or develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference worksEvaluate training programs and reviews outcomesAssist with human resource policies, programs and practices when necessary

 

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or education and a minimum of five (5) years of training, education or related facilitator experience.  Master trainer and PHR/SPHR certification helpful.
