Director of Facilities Management

West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero, Louisiana is seeking a Director of Facilities Management who will plan, develop, implement, organize, and direct all aspects of the Facilities Management department’s functions, including all maintenance of the physical facilities, utility systems, and plant equipment in accordance with hospital needs, JCAHO, local, state, and federal regulations. Candidate must possess extensive knowledge of JCAHO, NFPA and other local, state and federal codes and standards. Candidate should possess the ability to read and understand architectural drawings and specification. Candidates should also possess a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years supervisory experience, as well as department management experience.  Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) preferred.
