Director of Nursing - Assisted Living

Local organization seeking experienced Director of Nursing to join their team in Southern CA. We offer excellent opportunity for advancement and career growth. You will be responsible for clinical management of our facility, and will work closely with the administrator to ensure best resident care. Manage the day-to-day operations of direct care, provide leadership, hire and train staff, perform assessments, coordinate service plans, assist with marketing efforts, communicate with physicians/residents/families, maintain regulatory compliance.

 

Requirements:

- Current RN or LVN licensure

- 3+ years gerontological nursing/administration experience

- Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate effectively

- Management/Supervisory experience

- Sense of humor

- Person of integrity with an absolute commitment to resident care

- Experience in assisted living or skilled nursing strongly preferred

- Must be able to provide nursing services to the elderly while supervising a diverse staff.
