Director of Patient Financial Services

MedStar Health, the Baltimore-DC area’s largest health care system, has a career opportunity for a Patient Financial Services Director to join our PFS Management Team at the Central Business Office located in Baltimore, Maryland.   The ideal candidate will have extensive revenue cycle experience (10+ years) in Director level position to include strong background in Patient Access. Thorough understanding of case management and medical record integration to Patient Accounting operational process flow.Thorough knowledge of Medicare and HIPAA regulations. Prior experience with Siemens Invision (SMS) a plus. Ability to commute between Baltimore and Washington DC Hospitals required. Excellent written and verbal communication. Proficient uses of hospital registration and/or electronic billing systems. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field required.
