Director of Prospect Research

Coordinate research activities using on-line services and hard copy sources and maintain a system of prospect research and management for the support of fundraising activities for the Virtua Health Foundation. Conduct detailed research on multi-million dollar gift suspects/prospects. Interact with CEO; system and Foundation board members; committed volunteers; etc., in the development of major gift and annual fund prospect strategies. Prepare for high level prospect research committee meetings with these groups. Director of prospect research must ensure that donor/prospect information is kept confidential and be able to discern what information should be kept in donor files. Bachelor’s Degree; Experience in not-for-profit environment; Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external clients; Ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects.
