Director of Provider Relations

The Director of Provider Relations is responsible for: Defining the market area for Plano Specialty Hospital and Heritage Manor and overseeing the process of referral development. The Annual Marketing Plan and developing strategies geared toward successful completion of that plan. Supervises activities of the Admission Coordinator and Nurse Liaison staff. Develops Community awareness of hospital services and facilities. Provides training and education for staff.

 

Requirements: Current Texas RN License in good standing 2+ years of previous Marketing experience with working knowledge of acute care hospital environment and skilled nursing Strong professional demeanor Strong organizational skills Ability to to self-motivate, multi-task, and execute responsibilities with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate effectively, relate positively and appropriately, with patients, families, physicians, peers, community members, and others. Ability to effectively apply counseling techniques to resolve staff conflicts. Ability to analyze, establish and implement a plan for maximum penetration of assigned target markets and/or customer base. Ability to utilize time efficiently, plan and conduct sales calls with maximum effectiveness. General knowledge of data processing operations sufficient to ensure the development of program specifications for data input, data retrieval, and report preparation. Possess special interest in, an a positive attitude about, working with hospital and long-term care patients. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Other duties as assigned by CEO.
