Director of Staff Development/Job Coach

Related experience –Organizational Management, Mentoring, Team Building, Training and Development South Bay seeks a Director of Staff Development to assistant in agency wide professional development of new staff. Responsibilities will include job coaching as well as overseeing recruiting and marketing needs. This position will report directly to the CEO. The job coach will, with staff and supervisors, assess performance factors and strategize positive and strength-based solutions. Functions include scheduling coaching sessions, creating coaching plans, monitoring performance and providing feedback and follow up.  This position will facilitate trainings, assist in the leadership development program and work cooperatively with Human Resources and Recruiting.  Interested candidates should possess a BS or BA in Human Services or related field,  (Master’s level degree is preferred)  and two years of the following: supervisory experience, counseling experience, and training or teaching.
