The Cooperative for Human Services, Inc. is a nonprofit, multi-service organization that provides residential services, living support alternatives, and corporate guardianship options for people with mental retardation and other related developmental disabilities. It is our mission to empower, support, and expand the knowledge, skill, and natural capacities of the people we support to direct and live full and meaningful lives within their communities. The organization possesses a long-standing, demonstrated history of providing community-based, person-centered services. Our Residential Services Division provides a variety of program models and designs including community based residences, specialized home care, staffed apartments, and live-in supports.
As we continue to experience expansion, we are seeking experienced, dedicated managers who are willing to work hard to achieve excellence on behalf of people we serve. Our management team is progressive, committed to continuously improving our services, and needs other idealists to join us. We have achieved the highest level of Certification and Licensure through the Department of Mental Retardation and we offer competitive salary and benefits in a challenging, fast paced environment. Position Title: Residential Division Manager
Reports to: Director of Residential Services
Supervises:Professional management team of 5 – 7 assigned Residential House Managers, Live-in Managers, & Program Coordinators
Job Location: Administrative Office located in Burlington; Service Delivery area may include locations in Arlington, Burlington, & Lynn, MA
Job Summary:
§Fulltime residential senior management position, often 40+hrs/wk
§Provides leadership, direction & supervision to assigned managers
§Oversees & coordinates all aspects of residential services (case management, ISP planning, healthcare, clinical, behavioral supports, etc)
§ Ensures agency, DMR & national service are achieved
§ Provides administrative oversight for assigned programs & services
§ Leads service expansion within areas of responsibility
§Develops the knowledge, skills & performance of all assigned employees (direct support, assistant managers, & managers)
§Performs regular quality assurance functions including auditing & monitoring functions
§ Provides 24-hr on-call to assigned managers & program
Qualifications:
§ Personal Commitment to Service Quality & Excellence
§ Proven Leadership & Supervisory Skills
§ Demonstrated Knowledge of DMR Licensing & Regulations
§ Demonstrated Knowledge of National Service Standards in Residential Services
§Able to work flexibly to meet individual/programmatic needs
§At least 5 years of progressive, relevant management & supervisory experience
§ BA in related field required, MA preferred
§ Valid Massachusetts’s Driver’s License & vehicle

§ Salary $50K+ commensurate with relevant education and experience
