We have an immediate opening for a Division/Product Manager.  This individual would report directly to the CEO and would lead our stem cell division.  We’re seeking someone as comfortable with divisional responsibility – capable of leading a marketing and sales organization, or selling to physicians, as they are with presenting to Executive Management.  Working directly with the executives of the Company, this individual would be driving projects such as:

 

·   Profit and Loss responsibility for Cord Blood/Stem Cell Division, including establishing, implementing and monitoring sales performance metrics for Cord Blood team

· Product Management: Marketing, Sales, Operations – Entrepreneurial Opportunity!

·  Manages total staff of 10+

· Handles inbound sales lead calls; performs outbound lead follow-up communication to potential and existing clients to qualify leads and promote services

· Builds and maintains client relationships

· Collaboratively works with marketing department to exponentially grow the company

· Conducts periodic external sales calls to physician offices within Southern California region (likely no more than a 20 mile radius from Santa Monica)

· Manages outside sales schedule and follow up

· Develops and maintains sales policies and procedures; works closely with billing department to refine billing procedures and policies

· Assists in coordination of industry and consumer trade show exhibits; attends trade shows as needed

· Coordinates with cord blood laboratory and assists with physician relations as needed

· Carries FCBS client pager on weekdays and weekends on a rotation schedule with other Cord Blood Educators and FCBS management

· Other duties and projects as required

 

Requirements: 

·  Bachelor’s Degree from a top tier school, graduating with a strong GPA

·  MBA or equivalent experience

·  Proven ability to manage and lead a sales team and achieve results; strong customer service skills

·  ERP or Systems implementation experience highly desired especially with Microsoft Dynamics – Navision

·  Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and working well under pressure

·  Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications and other desktop PC software

·  Very strong problem solving and project management skills required

·  Strong personal management and team leadership skills

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·  Ability to work in a team as well as independently

·  Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable personality
