As a DONATION COORDINATOR you will blend high level medical/clinical and people skills to work with donor families, multiple surgical teams, and critical care staff to optimize organ and tissue donation for transplantation. At the end of each day you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you contributed to life saving and life enhancing initiatives.

The Position
NEOB is looking for an experienced critical care or trauma nurse, physician assistant, or paramedic to work as a Donation Coordinator (DC). In addition, to working closely with hospital staff the DC takes charge of managing the donor’s care. Success in this role requires a self-assured professional who can remain calm and effective, even in highly charged, clinically complex situations.

Qualifications
•Clinical training and experience and a bachelor’s degree are required. Optimal candidates have critical care or trauma experience.
•Medical/clinical credentials and demonstrated experience in medically managing complicated clinical events.
•Ability to serve on a rotating call schedule, with the flexibility for extended hours (can require day and night hours).
•Must have a car and current driver’s license.
