EAI Integration Specialist

Position Description

EAI Integration Specialist will work on a variety of projects and lead initiatives while providing technical expertise and support to other team members. He or she will help with the design, development, implementation and support of Rush University Medical Center Interface infrastructure. This includes integrating multiple business and/or technical information technology solutions encompassing multiple specializations that are deployed on variety of platforms using wide spectrum of technologies.

Responsibilities
Candidate will:
Participate in development and implementation of Rush EAI solutions.
Participate in development of interface connectors between disparate hospital and partner systems.
Gather, interpret and evolve the end-user's requirements into system design specifications using Use Cases, design modeling and UML diagrams.
Help document system business process flows and technical specifications.
Identify, help develop, update and enforce interfaces standards and procedures.
Coordinate and participate in code reviews.
Help provide 24x7 support of the production systems

Required Skills

Candidate must possess the following core competencies:
3 years plus system integration experience with EAI technologies.
Experience with any of the following Message Broker and Data Transformation middleware, such as Cloverleaf, Orion, Rhapsody, SeeBeyond's eGate or Sun JCAPS, BEA WebLogic Integrator or AquaLogic.
Experience developing interfaces preferably using eWays collaborations in Monk and/or Java using SRE or JRE.
Experience with Epic Bridges is a major plus.
Experience with rules-based message routing using a channels-based publish-subscribe broker to transport events in a loosely-coupled manner.
Experience integrating systems, suppliers and customers through leading healthcare standard protocols. Exposure to HL7 is a must.
Excellent team, interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Have Skills

Exposure to the following is a plus:
Exposure to Healthcare systems such as Epic, 3M, Cerner and others.
Exposure to Full Lifecycle Development Methodologies like RUP, Agile, others.
Knowledge of XML and related technologies.
Working knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM) through enabling business activities as services and orchestrating business process.
Experience with Trading Partner Integration encompassing range of partners-from full Hub to Hub interaction to lightweight partner to client.
Knowledge and experience with Web Services, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), SOA.
