It is comprised of The Cambridge Hospital, Somerville Hospital, Whidden Memorial Hospital, the Cambridge Public Health Department, more than 20 primary care practices and Network Health - a statewide managed Medicaid health plan. Whidden Hospital in Everett is currently looking for experienced RN to work in a busy, 24 hour, newly renovated ED. This position is day shift, 36 hours per week, 7a-7p-12 hour shifts, full benefits.Each candidate must exhibit excellent customer relations skills with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers. Must understand and integrate into the delivery of patient care the needs of specific ages in regard to their growth and development. He or she must utilize principles of Triage for all Emergency department admissions, utilize the principles of Physical Assessment, and collect data through the Interviewing, Observation, and Inspection of the patient. Must organize daily work, prioritize, and make decisions concerning care to meet the needs of individual and groups of patients. Must adhere to and administer treatment according to Cambridge Health Alliance's policies and procedures.
