EDUCATION COORDINATOR Pediatric Emergency

Position Description

Responsible for coordination of nursing education programs including but not limited to Nursing Orientation, ACLS and BCLS. Collaborates with nurse managers and clinical specialists in developing, coordinating and evaluating education programs based on learning needs of the staff. Represents the Nursing Education department on related committees and with the TUHS schools of Nursing. The Hospital Plan for providing nursing care, together with the Standards of Operation, define the target populations for which services are anticipated and planned. Education and Experience BSN required, MSN preferred. Licensure as an RN in the State of Pennsylvania, several years experience in clinical nursing and nursing education related activities. Current BCLS certification required with ACLS/BCLS Instructor Certification preferred. 40 hours/5 days
