Concentra is seeking to hire per diem EMT Paramedics to assist with our At Work Program in the Atlanta area. This opportunity will be assisting with health fairs, episodic services and flu shots in the area. We are seeking Paramedics for this opportunity. Phlebotomy experience is required. Qualified candidates will have current CPR certification, professional license, good customer service, communication and computer skills. Previous experience in occupational health and with flu shots preferred. CPR and First Aid instruction is a plus. EOE.This opportunity will be primarily day shift but may be asked to cover some off shift hours. Various work environments and responsibilities covering multiple clients in the area as well as providing some back fill support for our area Occupational Medical Centers.Local area travel is required and reimbursed. Concentra offers competitive hourly salary and benefits.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ' Draws blood and prepares appropriate paperwork for laboratory pick-up.' Performs urine drug screens, using proper chain of custody; ensures preparation for pick-up and shipment to appropriate laboratory.' Assists in medical record maintenance.' Maintains and operates all clinical equipment, including calibration and record keeping in accordance with current policy and procedures.' Performs ancillary testing and tasks as required (PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws) in accordance with established policies and procedures.' Performs other duties, as assigned. EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:' Graduate of an approved EMT program.' Current registration/license in the state where employed.JOB RELAVENT EXPERIENCE:' Minimum one year experience in occupational health nursing, clinical or related field.JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: ' Demonstrated knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific).' Demonstrated working knowledge of clinical operations.' Demonstrated excellent customer service and communication skills.' Demonstrated willingness to participate in Continuing Medical Education.
