EPSDT Coordinator, RN or LPN - Brand new team!

The company is part of Ovations, a family of UnitedHealth Group businesses dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Americans ages 50 and older.New Mexico announces a new statewide, coordinated long-term care program in which Evercare will be one of two health plans serving close to 40,000 Medicaid recipients. Evercare is a premier clinical care management organization, and collaborates with federal and state leaders to create new programs to serve this population. This program is the culmination of years of planning with the State of New Mexico, and we look forward to building partnerships here with our new members, providers and community organizations. We are seeking an RN or LPN with pediatric experience to help ensure that our members under the age of twenty-one are receiving state-mandated health screenings and that the program meets state and federal regulations. Additionally, the chosen candidate will enjoy plenty of autonomy and the rewards that come with assisting a pediatric population. Primary responsibilities include: Making sure that the required screenings take place Identifying access issues and working with providers and field-based care managers for resolution Ensuring that providers comply with regulations Scheduling appointments with providers and coordinating services Providing outreach and education to members and providers Spending approximately 30% of the time in the fieldRequired qualifications include: Current, unrestricted RN or LPN licensure Pediatric experience MS Office and Internet proficiency Preferred qualifications include: EPSDT experience Exposure to Medicaid A managed care and/or case management background Fluency in Spanish or Native American dialects UnitedHealth Group offers a full range of comprehensive benefits to full-time and part-time employees, including medical, dental and vision, as well as a matching 401k and an employee stock purchase plan.
