Our 12-bed ED with a 3 bed extension area is a team-oriented, fast-paced, and rewarding team of highly experienced physicians and nurses who are continually honored with high patient satisfaction scores. The ER Registered Nurse is defined as a professional who provides and supervises care to individuals and families. Utilizing a holistic approach the Registered Nurse provides a safe and confidential environment throughout the delivery of care. As a professional, the Registered Nurse is responsible for providing team leadership and maintaining professional development.* $10,000 Sign-on bonus.* $40-$50 per hour depending on years of experience as an RN. * $4.50 night shift differential* $2.50 evening shift differential* $1.70 weekend shift differential* Fully paid benefits for you and your dependents. Has the ability to read, speak and write English in order to perform the duties of the position. Ability to: Work as a team member to meet team goals and objectives. Work effectively under multiple demands and adjust priorities, as circumstance requires meeting nursing/staffing needs of the department. Maintain a high degree of accuracy and precision on a consistent basis in the performance of nursing procedures.  Treat co-workers, physicians, patients, families, visitors, and the public with dignity and respect.  Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all hospital staff. Maintain patient confidentiality.  Work a flexible schedule and be willing to work additional hours if needed for the provision of quality patient care. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Card on hire. • Current ACLS within 3 months of hire. • Current PALS within 6 months of hire. • Must maintain current competencies and certifications required by the department.This position is represented by California Nurses Association, and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
