ETL Developer - Minnetonka, MN

Come to Clinical IT and discover the rare combination of a rewarding career and the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives. We are in search of a team-oriented professional with a strong work ethic for this ETL Developer role in our Minnetonka office.  Primary Responsibilities: Extensive usage in ETL tools (such as DataStage) to load, transform, and extract data from one data source to others Extensive understanding of the ETL process Assist in developing the overall ETL Architecture for Clinical IT Develop programming standards, practices and construction of data movement procedures within the ETL space including error processing, scheduling, job stream audits and controls Develop scheduling using AutoSys toolQualifications: Solid experience with creating Extraction-Transformation-Load (ETL) processes and required scripts to control data migration from the source applications to the target systems using established tools Strong knowledge of Datastage in both a development and architecture standpoint and system development life-cycle Extensive experience with object-oriented programming required (C# would be helpful) Past experience with AutoSys scheduler is a plus Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong understanding of design patterns Strong experience working with UML a plus Detailed knowledge of data model schemas required Solid experience in writing testable software Strong problem solving and analytical skills Strong unit testing skills Demonstrated experience working within a team environment Proven initiative, ability to work with minimal supervision and adhere to schedulesUnitedHealth Group offers a full range of comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental and vision, as well as a matching 401k and an employee stock purchase plan.  Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere:  equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V.
