Education Implementation Analyst

Responsible for acting as Instructional Designer/Trainer liaison between Implementation Analyst for practices implementing an Ambulatory EMR within the UPHS health system. Responsibilities include analyzing workflows for all roles within the practice to develop education/training material to the practice within the context of the EMR, providing education/training to the practices on EMR functionality, conducting research relating to enhancements of the EMR application, configuring/building the test EMR environment to conduct accurate and effective material and education, and coordinating tasks with other IS teams to ensure project deadlines are met. Degree Requirements and Minimum Experience Required: • Bachelor’s degree or related field or equivalent work experience • At least 1 year Healthcare experience (IT or clinical) • Vender certification preferred Skill Requirements: • Strong customer service orientation and ability to follow through issues to resolution. • Detail oriented, strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills required. • Ability to analyze, diagnose, suggest and implement process changes • Ability to interact with all levels of physician practice personnel to include: IT management staff, consulting staff, clinicians, clinical administrators, etc. • Clinical applications experience in either an application support or implementation role preferred. • Familiar with process improvement and project management • Knowledge of healthcare operations and data structures and the use of information system applications in the practicing healthcare environment required • Must be able to function as part of a team providing a high level of quality service to clients.
