Company: Children's Hospital Boston Location: US-MA-Boston Status: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Medical/Health Position Summary As an integral part of the Critical Care Transport Team- ensures and participates in coordinating the timely and efficient management of patients to be transported by the Critical Care Transporting Team. Effectively takes and enters information for the Emergency Room Referrals from referring Physicians and outside hospitals. Will work alone and must possess and demonstrate at all times the ability to make sound judgments with life support alarms. They must have the ability to be versatile and handle multiple crises at once while maintaining composure and must possess good communications skills. Rotating schedule, 32 hours per week. Requirements Work requires a high school level of education. Emergency Medical Tech (EMT) certification, with 2-3 years of experience, preferably in dispatch operations. Medical terminology either through experience or training. ~MN~
