Enrollment Resource Coordinator

This is a Full-time direct service position requiring general and specific knowledge of mental health, community programming and entitlement programs. Primary responsibilities are to provide and/or coordinate assessment, planning, linkage to internal and external services, and advocating for adults with mental illness.  The job involves the provision of resource management services including but not limited to Department of Social Services and Social Security Administration.  This is a salaried position.  Degree required, Social work preferred. 
Perform initial individual psychosocial assessment planning and implementation in both structured and unstructured settings. Ability to work with others as part of an interdisciplinary team. Ability to assess effectively the functional capabilities, mental status and service needs of WSI members and potential members. Ability to employ sound, clinical judgment and make rapid interventions in crisis situations. Conduct group meetings with members, staff and significant others to facilitate problem solving. Comfortable and confident in offsite situations including individual's homes, shelters, etc. Knowledge of the rules and regulations, which apply to Medicaid reimbursement through Maryland’s Public Mental Health System (PMHS). Knowledge of current effective approaches being used to assist persons with mental illness and skills in facilitating community integration. Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
