Experienced Cardiology Biller with Front Office Skills
Job Description, Duties and Responsibilities:
* Initiates claims from Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and ensure completeness and accuracy of billing process.
* Collects delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with patients and insurance companies.
* Monitor and maintain medicare and medicaid collections and write offs at its minimal
* Front office duties include processing of insurance verification, physician referrals, respectful and effective communication with patients and referring physicians' personnel.
* Maintain very organized work operations by following office's policies and procedures; reporting compliance issues.* Maintain professional and quality results by following standards.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
* Enhance billing and front office responsibilities by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Skills/Qualifications:
Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Documentation Skills, Analyzing Information, General Math Skills, Resolving Conflict, effective verbal and written communication, team-player.
Requirements:
Healthcare Experience - Office Doctors a must, High School Diploma, Billing and Coding Certification a plus,Medical Assistant Certification or other Medical Certifications a plus.
