Program Overview:

CHL's Early Intervention (EI) Program located in Leominster, MA, serves infants and toddlers, ages birth to three years (0-3), who have been diagnosed with development delays of 25% or greater. Children are referred to the program by parents, physicians, day care providers and the Department of Social Services for evaluation. Children are evaluated and then individualized family case plans are developed to provide ongoing care and support to the children and their families. The program emphasizes a multi-disciplinary approach and employs OTs, PTs, SLPs, medical staff, nutritionists, social workers and developmental specialists. The program serves children and families in the north central portion of Worcester County.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

FFS Clinician to:
• Conduct evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Effectively work to coordinate services for children and families.
• Be able to effectively manage a flexible schedule while providing services home based settings.
• Provide support to and act as resource for families of children.
• Work effectively as member of multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrate excellent time management and communication skills.

Qualifications:

 

 License - LMHC, LCSW, LICSW or independent psychologist license - required.
• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field required.
• Minimum two (2)years experience working with children and families required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English; Portuguese/English or Vietnamese/English) written and oral skills a plus.
