Successful candidate will have 4-years experience in a healthcare financial setting (provider or health plan-based) with a minimum of 2-years financial reporting or modeling experience; or, a comparable combination of education and experience. Will possess an in-depth knowledge of Managed Care Contracts Payment Terms; Healthcare Financial Concepts and Principles; Hospital Service Coding Methodologies (i.e. DRG, APC, RVS, ICD-9); Hospital Data and Statistics; and Patient Accounting Operations as they relate to Managed Care and Data Analysis. Strong project management skills a must as well as excellent verbal and written communication. Also requires proficiency with Excel, and database tools such as Microsoft Access. Bachelor¡®s degree in healthcare or finance focused field required. Responsible for developing a local managed care utilization database, producing contract performance reports, modeling reimbursement rates, evaluating financial contract modifications and compiling and monitoring key managed care statistics.
