 The Optimum Health Institute (OHI) is a Mission of the Free Sacred Trinity Church (FSTC), a non-denominational Church that has been operating healing ministries since 1976. At OHI's San Diego and Austin holistic health centers, people of all traditions are welcome to participate in our program that promotes spiritual and physical healing by teaching ancient spiritual disciplines to align mind, body and spirit.

As a member of the Facilities Maintenance staff, you will play a critical role in helping to provide a healing, peaceful and serene Mission environment for our guests.

 

Position Overview 

 

As a member of the Facilities Maintenance staff, you will deliver uncompromising service to guests and adherents when assisting and communicating with them about maintenance issues that affect them directly.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Maintaining the facilities, equipment and landscaping at the Mission

• Guest room repairs and renovations will be performed in a timely manner and according OHI standards

• Assisting the Wheatgrass Department with clean ups

• Delivering program materials to the OHI store and facilitators’ classes

• Monitoring proper heating/cooling of MPR area

• Assisting with the restocking and unloading of heavy supplies and packages

 

Qualifications

 

• 5+ years’ experience with building maintenance in an apartment, hotel, hospital, or other institution;

• 3+ years’ experience with associated trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC)

• High School diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent
