Family Service Coordinator (social work)

Position Summary

The Family Service Coordinator (FSC) is responsible for assuring the admission of appropriately referred youngsters into the program and for identifying areas of need within a child's ecology and arranging to remedy those needs beyond the program environment during enrollment as well as after discharge. The FSC coordinates and implements all case management activities for the youth and their families.

§ Familiarity with the application of behavioral principles in youth treatment

§ Strong interpersonal skills

§ Effective communication skills

§ Effective time-management skills

§ Familiarity with educational, mental health, and child care systems in the state of Ohio

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Services (e.g. Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Sociology or Behavioral Science) and one year of experience in child welfare services and/or a valid Ohio Board of Social Work Examiners license. Valid OH driver’s license and appropriate clearances.
