Field Service Engineer - VA The Field Service Engineer is a key contributor in maintaining ongoing customer interaction to solve and prevent technical difficulties. Primary roles are providing initial installation and instrument technical support for the chemistry products sold by Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics. The FSE is responsible for product service within a specified geographic territory. The FSE is also responsible for all administrative duties of the position to include, but not limited to, inventory control, expense reporting, proper documentation of all service calls including preventative maintenance and installations. This individual must also have good computer skills and be able to adapt to new software quickly. The FSE must manage his/her time to complete all requested service in a prompt and efficient manner. He/she must be a team player and have the ability to manage customer relationships to build trust and respect. This individual must be able provide service to customers during off hours as well as weekends when necessary. A good driving record as well as a sound knowledge of electronics and electro-mechanical devices is also required.A minimum two year electronic degree or equivalent is required. Electro mechanical skills, computer skills, interpersonal skills, professional attitude necessary.  Laboratory experience a plus.
