JOB SUMMARY:


The Financial Analysis Consultant performs professional and analytical tasks in the Accounting/Finance function. Tasks are highly analytical and require extensive knowledge of financial precepts and company products and services. Output must be in a form to communicate with management. Work is performed independently, with limited review by management prior to release. As circumstances warrant, procedures are developed to provide control over areas of financial risk in the development of new products.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares financial reports, including financial statements, cost reports, budgetary analysis, special financial studies, and various transaction reports. Prepares customer reports, such as contract billings, plans and forecasts delivered to Corporate, or pricing proposals. Prepares financial analyses for new products, services, acquisitions and dispositions. Develops financial procedures and controls for new products or services.

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education:
MBA or equivalent required.

 

Certification/License:

 

Experience:
Minimum eight years relevant experience.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Knowledge of General Ledger Accounting. Working knowledge of Financial Analysis. Abilities with MS Excel or similar spreadsheet application.

Any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
