Job Title: Financial / Pricing Analyst

Description:

Position includes extensive data manipulation and analysis through the use of Excel and Access.  Analysis responsibilities include evaluating price/cost factors, utilization, and other financial considerations to quantify the total potential financial impact of the agreement to our customers.

Development of ad-hoc financial models to address specific contract/customer needs.  Scenarios include:
• Conversion analysis that reflects financial impact of customer’s decision to shift market share between suppliers.
• Non-Conversion scenarios that contemplate the financial impact of maintaining market share with current supplier.
• Capital equipment acquisition method scenarios to show impact of purchase versus lease.

Research and analyze market dynamics of the product category to assist in the development of the RFI.

Assist in the preparation of the RFP to ensure that proper financial/data elements are requested and received.  Audit supplier RFP responses and validate integrity of data.

Prepare financial presentations for internal management and external customers.

Create contract summary documents and price files for entry into Broadlane’s Contract Management System.  Responsibilities consist of loading contract details and price files.  .

Required Experience and Background:
• 4 year college degree required, with major in finance or other relevant field
• 2+ years analysis experience with pricing and (or) financial data
• Must be an expert in Excel using: subtotals, pivot tables, v-lookups, and formulas

• Strong experience with Access database to organize data and develop meaningful analyses
• Healthcare experience preferred
