Financial Specialist

We are currently looking for a Full-time Financial Specialist.This position is responsible for high volume collections, accurate and timely preparation and admission of claims to third party carriers and guarantors, and answering inquiries on a timely basis according to Hospital procedures. This position requires thorough knowledge of claims submission processes for all major carriers and intermediaries, with emphasis on Truth in Lending laws, insurance, reimbursement procedures and medical terminology.

 

Minimum High School Diploma or GED required. Prefer one to two years of college. Prefer minimum of two years of experience in a hospital or free-standing psychiatric facility performing insurance billing and collection duties. Excellent oral and written communications skills required.
