Fitness Specialist Substitute- Healthy Lifestyles

Healthways is recruiting Fitness Specialist Substitutes to help support our client site located in Cleveland, OH.The responsibilities of the Fitness Specialist Substitute are to assist the Fitness Center Manager in the daily operations of the fitness center including: Cover staffed fitness center hours, perform facility orientations, fitness evaluations and exercise prescriptions for fitness center members, and to perform special duties specified by the Fitness Center Manager including special event assistance.Requirements:-Minimum of Bachelor Degree in health and fitness or related field.-Field experience with an ACSM, AFA, or ACE certification desired. -Aerobic class instruction including Step Aerobics, experience working with individuals on their personal health/fitness program, exercise testing and prescription, weight training.-Mandatory CPR & Applicable Safety certification required. Aerobic certification desirable, Exercise testing certification (ACSM) and certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist desirable.-Mental/physical demands include teaching aerobic classes weekly and maintaining a positive, energetic attitude at all times. -Must be able to demonstrate and assist individuals with position changes, stretching, and resistance and/or aerobic exercises.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.Fitness Specialist,interpersonal,relationship building,verbal communication
