Flexible Spending Account Specialist

BRMS offers a highly competitive benefit package. We currently pay 100% of the premium for the employee’s medical, dental, vision, and Long Term Care insurance as well as a $50,000 life insurance policy beginning the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment. We pay three weeks of PTO the first year, four weeks the second year, plus we offer three Float days per year. We also offer a 401K program with a 3% match. BRMS is an Equal Employment Employer.
The FSA Specialist ensures the Flexible Spending department runs effectively and remains in compliance with all applicable regulations. Operations include reporting, testing, claims, administrative functions, and handling HR issues such as performance management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reporting and Testing:Provide monthly, quarterly and yearly reports to all flex groups.Run monthly auditsSend out Welcome packets and Quarterly StatementsManage all discrepancies, sending all discrepancies to each specific group to find the solution to each discrepancy.Main contact for each Flexible Spending Group.Run Non Discrimination testing for the section 125 flexible spending plan.
Administrative:Implementation of each new Flex groupHandle all escalated issuesEnter manual depositsProcess weekly importsUpdate changes on each Flex account (terminations, new effective date, and change in status)Back up to daily exportsBack up for claims processManage work load of each claims examinerCreating processes and procedures on a continued basisRun Check TracersProcess voids and reissues
