Front Desk Receptionist with Medical Experience

The Company:

Diamond Respiratory Care is a leading provider of home medical equipment and supplies. Our products treat a wide variety of disorders, from diabetes to advanced lung disease. We have been serving Southern California for over 13 years. Most recently we were awarded a very large contract are seeking additional staff to accommodate it.

The Position:

We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist who is multi-talented and versatile. In this position you will be handling a moderate level of phone call so a pleasant and clear voice is a must. In addition to basic clerical tasks you will be responsible for taking orders for patient medication and/or equipment, following up on patient eligibility with insurance companies, etc. Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful

The Requirements:

We are seeking a person with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. You must have at least average experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel. You must be confident and able to think and solve problems on your own. You must be able to present the company in a positive way by being prepared and organized (strong organizational skills are required).

You must be available to work Monday through Friday 8:30-5:00 without interruption. You must be organized, work efficiently and communicate effectively.
