We are a hearing health care organization that specializes in the precise fitting of hearing instruments and provide the rehabilitation for successful use. We currently practice in three offices located in St. Petersburg, Clearwater and New Port Richey, as well as serve sixty retirement communities throughout Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando counties. St. John’s Hearing Institute has been serving the needs of the hearing impaired for over 16 years in the Bay Area. We are a local and private organization with fewer than 20 employees. Due to the success of our marketing program, we have been experiencing steady growth.

Medical Assistant/Front Office also known as;

Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) Clearwater 

Important Characteristics: Warm and Approachable Great People Skills Organized Great Communicator with Seniors Multitasking TEAM Player Truly LOVE to help Others and make a Difference 

Primary responsibility is to support hearing instrument dispensers/audiologists as follows:

* Coordinate patient care by scheduling appointments and managing appointment book.

Build patient relationships through regular communication by phone and in person.

Must be exceptional at scheduling time efficiently.

* Multi tasking office duties associated with a “front desk” position. Typing, filing, greet patients, mail information and other misc. duties. Must be able to work with many personalities types.

 *Heavy phone work and fun describe this position. Most of our patients are seniors and you will be in constant contact with them by phone and in person.

Compensation: Base plus Benefits.

Telephone Professional (Patient Care Coordinator)

Prerequisites:

·        Warm, inviting, magnetic, compassionate person

·         Great Phone and personal communication skills 

Description: Professional but FUN environment.

Make a living by actually helping people! 

Responsibility is to support hearing instrument dispensers/audiologists by setting appointments for hearing tests.

 *Heavy phone work and fun describe this part of the position. Most of our patients are seniors and you will be in constant contact with them and their families by phone.

In person contact possible also, as needed. 

* Coordinate patient care by scheduling appointments and managing appointment book.

Build patient relationships through regular communication by phone and in person.

Must be exceptional at scheduling time efficiently.

 Must be able to work with many personalities types.

Compensation: Base salary plus Bonuses plus Benefits.
