Full Time Medical Front Desk Receptionist & Billing

 ·  Must have definite experience in EITHER - chiropractic and/or medical office. (Do NOT apply otherwise!!)

 

· Position is for a front desk position w/ billing – in a 6 year old Chiropractic Neurology office in Winter Park  (Aloma Ave & 436). 

 

Position will include front desk and clerical duties, which include but not limited to:  Answering phones, scheduling appointments, working  inactive patient lists, filing medical records,  data entry in computer, insurance verification, billing insurance, collections & A/R, daily statistic logs, and bank deposits, etc.

 

*  Must have good people and communication skills. 

*  Must have a friendly, outgoing personality. 

*  Must be computer & software literate.

*  Must be a “team player”.

*  Good organizational and procedural skills are necessary. 

*  Must be a steady & progressive learner – with a STRONG work ethic!

 

Advanced skills & experience in Insurance billing and posting payments is a must… (Do not apply if you have absolutely NO insurance billing knowledge at all).

 

Must have knowledge & experience of insurance, as it pertains to a medical office.  Knowledge of  insurance verification, co-pays, capitations, some coding, billing, re-submits, corrected claims, denials, 2nd requests, evaluation EOB’s & what to do with EOB’s not paid in full… etc.

 

-- Must be able to post payment/charges in computer software – from insurance companies, private pay, etc -  to our office.

-- Must have basic skills in accounts receivable, simple math & basic accounting principles.

-- Must have the basic skills of money collection from patients (cash, co pays, deductibles).

-- Strong and varied computer & software skills are highly preferred.

-- If you have knowledge in office software programs – programs like (ie) Medical Manager, Medix,  Medisoft, ChiroPulse, Eclipse, TGI, etc.  Then my office software should be easy for you.
