Full time Coders needed in Denver, CO

On Call Consulting, the company committed to providing superior healthcare personnel, has an immediate need for experienced MT or MLT in the Denver area.

 

Education Requirement: BS in Medical Technology or related field, or a combination of education and experience as defined in the CLIA standards.  MT(ASCP), CLS(NCA) or CLIA equivalent. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs standardized laboratory procedures including automated and manual testing in

  Hematology, Microbiology, Serology, Special Chemistry and Urinalysis.

• Operates, Maintains, Calibrates and performs quality control procedures on laboratory

  equipment and instruments.

• Performs routine maintenance on laboratory instruments.

Key Qualifications:

• Detail oriented

• Must be a registered Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or meet the equivalency standards under CLIA.  An ASCP, NCA, or equivalent is required.

• 1-2 years of recent industry experience

 

Pay is DOE.  Full time, evening shift available.
