Requirements for PTs:

 

·        You must be a graduate of a Physical Therapy program jointly accredited by the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association

·        You must be registered with and/or certified by the American Physical Therapy Association Certification Board

·        You must be licensed in state of practice

 

Requirements for PT Assistants:You must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association You must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.
