Grievance Coordinator

San Miguel Health Plan is a newly operational, rapidly growing Medicare Advantage HMO serving Los Angeles County with headquarters in Long Beach. Operational as of January 1, 2008, with two plans, a MAPD and a Medi-Medi (SNP) already with 1400 active members, our membership continues to grow rapidly.

Qualifications: Bi-lingual (Spanish) medical assistant with back office and / or UM experience to assemble, process and investigate grievances for medical director / peer review.
Applicants must type at least 30 wpm and have MS Word and Excel experience, MS Access a plus.  Must have basic letter writing and good telephone skills: Organized work habits a MUST.
